Zounds! Actually defeated Clayton Kershaw after he beat the Giants five straight games. Wonderful performance by Ryan Vogelsong, backed up by Javier Lopez and Santiago Casilla in the bullpen, particularly Lopez.
After the worst Giants defense in years, tonight one of the best with Crawford at SS and Arias at 3B.
Only offense was in the second inning, a first-pitch single by Posey off Kershaw followed by a monstah homer ty Brett Pill immediately after. Bee-yay-yoo-tiful.
Next game: Wednesday, May 9, 7 p.m. at MT Stadium in Los Angeles (keep those TV numbers up, Magic, because no one is coming to the Effing Stadium). Lincecum (2-2, 5.68) vs. Billingsley (2-2, 3.19). TV: NBC Bay Area, 7.2/Comcast 191 in Valley.
